Get Some…

This week we’re pleased to welcome a leading light on the Leeds electronic music scene to the Gonzo radio broadcast: P45.
His Room 237 nights have played host to labels such as Warp Records and seen artists such as Ceephax, Venetian Snares, Plaid, Clarke and LFO grace clubs across the city. He’s recently been making waves in his own right as a DJ, and will be showing you exactly why in his debut Gonzo radio set.

plus Micoland; Godfather of Leeds’ freakstep & horrordubs, it would be rude to shy away! Buy Micolands co written album with Gwylo: Reinfections on Dirtyload Records! www.gonzo.me.uk
We also have (nearly) a full compliment of residents this week, as Kubex, DJ Pesk and new recruit Ant Orange will be ripping it up in their own unique way.

Live this Wednesday from 8pm and available to listen back to all week on twisted-radio.com

It’s a Rave Dave…..

Something special coming [in your ears] on the Gonzo show this week. We’ve got two of Leeds’ finest live acts joining machines (and maybe body parts) for a special 2 hour mashup set.

Dave ‘Headcleaner‘ and Dave ‘Sofaboy‘ will be playing live for two hours using a machine drum, a mono machine, two Korg electribes and some good honest sweat. Look out for special skills being used such as the ‘reach around’ and the ‘4 handed button mash’. Ninja rave badness indeed; It’s fookin on kids!

Backing up the Dave’s 2-pronged aural assault will be Gonzo music geeks Chris ‘Hot Sauce’ Kubex (utilising a laptop, turntables and some fx to amuse himself), Gordon ‘Super Freak’ Gwylo (playing records you don’t have), and Kevin ‘Pooch’ Pesk (rubbing himself all over with Jungle Jam - free plug there kids…).

Live as you like, from 8pm this Wednesday and available to listen back to all week on twisted-radio.com. Join usssssssss Very Happy Smile Confused Sad Shocked Mad Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil
